A friend of Rav Shlissel's approached Beit Shapira on Shabbos. Consequently, he was beaten by police Yassamnikim. Beit Shapira residents were horrified to view a Jew wearing a tallis beaten by other Jews in Israel.
We must pray for the replacement of this government with a government run according to halachah and hochmat Hashem.

Oh well. Last week's parshah made it clear... but only to those who LISTEN:
דַּבֵּר אֶל-כָּל-עֲדַת בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם--קְדֹשִׁים תִּהְיוּ: כִּי קָדוֹשׁ, אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.

May be someone thinks, somehow, that "being holy" means to be in the government at any cost, so long as money flows into the Yeshivahs.
